On behalf of the Camargo Woolly Worm Central Committee, we would like to invite you to be a part of the 3rd Annual Camargo Woolly Worm Festival!

Your participation and display will make a worthwhile contribution. We have been working hard to get this celebration off to a good start, we hope you will come and join us. The 3rd Annual Woolly Worm Festival will be held October 4, 2008 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in the Camargo Park on Issacher St. in Camargo, Illinois.

Dear Vendors,

Something very exciting will once again be happening in Camargo, and we’re hoping that you will want to be a part of it!

On October 4, 2008 Camargo will host the 3rd Annual “Woolly Worm Festival” at the Camargo Park & Community Building! This one-day festival will be held from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Many exciting events will be showcased throughout the day. Inflatable equipment, a Woolly Worm race, food vendors, talent shows, musical groups and performances, a petting zoo, and a farmers’ market are some of the attractions being planned. The festival is in its early stages of planning, so events and activities will be added as planning is finalized.

Last year’s festival attracted around 2,000 people. This year we are anticipating an even larger crowd. We plan on doing this by advertising in the local newspapers, TV Stations, Radio Announcements, and brochure mailings. We are building our event as a family friendly and community oriented festival that showcases the talents, crafts, food vendors and businesses in our area. We are very proud of what East Central Illinois has to offer and want to share this with our community.

To make this event successful and ongoing, we need your help! We sincerely hope you will consider becoming a vendor at this year’s festival. It is our hope that you will be able to join us for the 3rd Annual Camargo Woolly Worm Festival. We have enclosed a registration form for your convenience, and would like to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
